  • Rescue the Chips: A Community Mission | Helping Hands Community Centre

Helping Hands Services Rescue the Chips: A Community Mission Don’t let the seagulls win. Join the mission! Saturday 21 December 2024 5:30 pm Support Your Local Discarded Chips Join us for a heartwarming (and slightly crispy) community event aimed at saving our beloved discarded chip shop chips from the clutches of hungry pigeons and seagulls. These golden, salty treasures have long been at the mercy of our feathered foes, and it’s time we take a stand! On Saturday, come down to the Helping Hands Community Centre and show your support for this noble cause. There will be chip-saving demonstrations, a chip-tasting station (don’t worry, these ones are safe!), and fun chip-themed games for all ages. Plus, you can adopt your very own “rescued” chip to take home! Proceeds from this event will go toward supporting local chip shops and raising awareness of the plight of discarded chips everywhere.
